On the request of the Ministry of Defense of the R. of Macedonia, in the company 11 Oktomvri - Eurokompozit, AD Prilep, a modification of the vehicle HMMWV-M1114 has been made including the manufacturing of an adequate supports for various types of machine-guns such as: browning cal. 12,7mm, MG3 cal. 7,62mm, M84 cal. 7.62mm. and a front ballistic protection plate which enables the functionality of the above mentioned armament as well as protection of the cupola area against wire obstacle on a road. During the process of modification, a consideration has been taken regarding the basic tactical and technical requirements of the vehicle and the increasing of its fire strength.

The modification includes the following: 1. A support has been made for a machine-gun Browning cal. 12,7 mm with an adapter for easy and fast assembly on the vehicle. On the support a machine-gun is assembled which together with the cupola enables activity from 0-3600 horizontally and en elevation from -180 to +600 vertically. 2. A support has been made for machine-gun MG3 cal. 7,62mm that can be easily and very fast built-in onto the vehicle by the already built-in universal adapter. On the support a machine-gun is assembled which together with the cupola enables activity from 0-3600 horizontally an elevation from -180 to + 600 vertically. 3. A support has been made for machine-gun M84 cal. 7,62mm that can be easily and very fast put on and put out of the vehicle. On the support a machine-gun is assembled which together with the cupola enables activity from 0-3600 horizontally and en elevation from -320 to +470 vertically. 4. A front plate with ballistic protection level III acc. to NIJ 0101.04 (7,62 x 51 FMJ grain with 9,7 g. mass and 847m/s speed) and as a combination of steel and polyethilene, has been made and assembled on the vehicle. This protection plate allows built-in and function of all above mentioned machine-guns. 5. A protection of the cupola area has been made against a wire obstacle on a road. This protection allows an overcome of the obstacle (cable) over a head of the fireman.
